A country drive through Hereford leads to our two hundred acre farm in Northern Baltimore County. Surrounded by three ponds, the view is breathtaking year-round.Our family started the Friendly Farm Restaurant in Upperco, Maryland in 1959. The location was nice but the food left much to be desired. The batter on the chicken was falling off & wasn't that crispy. The crabcake while had good flavor it didn't hold up its shape & was falling apart. The sides were lackluster & more than likely the vegetables came from a can. The outside was nice but it looked like a cafeteria inside. Yes the sugar donuts were good but I make these with my kids all the time, it's only biscuit dough. I have enjoyed coming to Friendly Farm since I was a kid. I just celebrated my wedding there and recommend their banquet room and services. Everyone enjoyed the food and view. Service is always fantastic.
