A country drive through Hereford leads to our two hundred acre farm in Northern Baltimore County. Surrounded by three ponds, the view is breathtaking year-round.Our family started the Friendly Farm Restaurant in Upperco, Maryland in 1959. Originally located in the existing farm house, the present building was opened in 1964 to accommodate a growing clientele. Dining is family style. As always, the food was spectacular and the service was top notch! Friendly Farms is our favorite spot to celebrate holidays and special occasions! A family tradition that will continue for many generations! Love this place!

Delicious crab cakes, light breading, huge lumps of crab, fantastic seasonings. Fried Oysters are also fantastic. Cottage cheese & apple butter, fries, slaw, peaches, rolls. All locally sourced, or grown & made at the farm. True farm to table experience. The decor is utility, and not fancy. Family friendly & laid back atmosphere. 5+ stars.
