The salon is clean and staff are polite, but my daughter got her starter locs here and they badly messed up her part. The part lines between her locs were all jagged and off center. The staff also seemed distracted while working on her hair. We went back once more to give them another chance but the retwist has the same subpar quality so we then changed salons. We also had them style her hair at the first visit to get her ready for camp and neither of us were impressed by the style. The cost is a lot higher than other salons... read more

I went to FreshLocs today for a much-needed loc retwist, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Antonio, the shop owner and my stylist, was amazing — super professional, friendly, and incredibly patient with me. I'm tender-headed, and he managed to be both quick and efficient without causing me any pain, which is rare and very appreciated! My daughter has been going to get her retwist done here for a little while now. I love the atmosphere and the knowledge of the locticians so much I have started my loc journey again.
