RecommendedAlways great food and service!
Our dinners were delicious and our server was helpful and friendly. There were two dining rooms, each with a bar. There was plenty of space between tables/booths and our server wore a mask at all times. All diners wore a mask upon entering and leaving. I felt comfortable and secure. Bob was pleased with list of all Michigan beers. There was a separate wine bar across the hallway that served Fresh Palate meals.
Absolutely one of the best places I have ever eaten. The pizza is absolutely amazing. I would drive up here from Columbus,Ohio just to get the pizza and some drinks. Highly recommended!!!
I found the food to be rather bland at higher prices. They preach about bigotry, racism, etc yet if you don't follow their beliefs apparently you aren't welcome.
The Fresh Palate is a great downtown spot, it's lively and welcoming and the food is great. The diversity of their menu and their all are welcome atmosphere makes it a favorite to so many.
Love this place! I’ve NEVER had a bad meal! I always enjoy having Dakota or Brittany wait on me!❤️ everyone always goes above and beyond!

the fresh palate, located in the heart of downtown, is a mix of unique ingredients && a talented staff. They have served Alpena for lots of years, and I couldn’t love them more. 10/10 for this culinary experience.
The food here is spectacular. My husband and I love coming here for dates when we want to try things that a lot of places in the area do not offer. Plus, they care about people in the community and are constantly trying to send a positive message. Very good for business.
