Excellent atmosphere – Fresco Italian Cafe has the best atmosphere of any restaurant that I have ever been to. There are only about 20 tables in my estimation in the whole place. It looks like an old house that has been converted into a restaurant. The food was good, although I would have liked a slightly larger portion. This is one of the best date restaurants there is. Get a reservation as early as you can. I went there on a Monday night and I had a hard time getting reservations.
Fabulous Experience! – I had not eaten at Fresco for a while but went last night. I honestly have to say it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Fresh tomato appetizer was delicious and the chicken entree was unbeliveable. Thats right, chicken! If you havn't been to Fresco for a while you might want to go soon so you can still sit on the patio. It might just be the best food in Salt Lake.
The best – Fresco is romantic, the pasta and fish dishes are always superb. The wine list is great. The service is always good. I fell in love with this restaurant--and I also fell in love in this restaurant.
Great Italian food! – One of Salt Lake's BEST italian restaurants. Inside is small - but the service and food are suberb. Their pasta (especially gnocchi) is excellent. Great outdoor dining as well.
wonderful! wonderful! wonderful! – Fresco Italian Cafe has excellent service and the setting is so cozy and romantic, but the food...the food speaks for itself. With different butter spreads every night (such as chive and orange zest butter, which was absolutely satisfying) and amazing salads and appetizers and entree's to die for. This place is absolutely magnificent. You will not be disappointed, I promise.
Exceptional Elegance – terrific food, service, setting and experience. Not for the cheap eater, but if you want a quality dining experience, you won't be disappointed.
CAN'T BE BEAT – No matter how many restaurants come to town, this one cannot be beat!
Great Neighborhood Haunt – Speaking as a local who lives around the corner from this 15th & 15th restaurant I am estatic there's a place in this day where one can still walk to a great establishment and have one of the best meals in the valley. Romance romance romance – Fresco is my favorite restaurant in the city for a romantic meal or a breezy alfresco dinner in the summertime. The dining room is intimate (some say cramped), but the feel is so cozy and warm--I still love it. The chefs consistently have been serving bold flavors and dynamic dishes for years.
