Yummy French's Cupcake Bakery has some of the best cupcakes in the O.C. They are always moist, creamy & delicious. I always offer to bring the treats when going to a pot luck, because I know no one will be disappointed with my bringing cupcakes from French's.
French's Cupcake Bakery is Fabulous I am a self proclaimed cupcake/cake snob. I will not waste my calories on substandard cake. I love French's cupcakes. From plain vanilla to the red velvets with cream cheese frosting.

Great Bakery Frenchs has been an Orange County mainstay since the 50s, and offers consistently great baked goods. Located in Costa Mesa, they specialize in cakes for all occasions and pride themselves on doing custom cakes. They also have extremely good danishes and their bread pudding made with their leftover croissants is excellent.

I am leaving this review both as a vendor and as a pastry client of several years. I photographed a wedding two weeks ago where the cake artist was French's Cupcake Bakery. As you can see in the attached photo, the cake was beautifully decorated and arrived in perfect shape to the venue (something we photographers appreciate). Now a small disclaimer: I am a cake lover, so when clients hire me, I make it a point to inform them that they *have to* feed me cake. Recently I ordered a themed cake for a special little girls first birthday. Lupe, Joe, and Rosie always make sure they offer quality (delicious!) custom cakes and bakery items from cookies to cupcakes and more. I always get our specialty, custom cakes from here and all of my guests and friends look forward to it. They are my favorite bakery in OC, but I bring their creations with me across the country. That usually ends with someone wishing they lived, or never left, Orange County. #bestOCbakery2018
