Straddling the Schuylkill Highlands, the 7,730-acre park is the largest block of contiguous forest between Washington D.C. and New York City. The forests, lakes, wetlands and fields are a destination for the people of southeast Pennsylvania to hike, fish, camp and bike.

French Creek State Park is a very convenient way to enjoy hiking in Penn's woods.
A huge state park not far from the city. I camped there with an organized group and we had a blast camping, hiking and kayaking. I highly recommend this park for a weekend stay!
A great place to hike and be outdoors. I just took the Sunset Stroll walk and had a great time.
We use to camp here but now just visit the pool and lake area which we love and always have fun
Love all the trails , as do my doggies!! One of my favorites
