Called at 5:04 pm to place an order for a cake that I needed for pick up on Friday, a carrot cake at that, nothing fancy. I was informed last week that I needed to give 48 hours notice. However, the store front manager stated that it would be Saturday before I could pick the cake up, because the pastry workers making the cake worked more along the lines of how "banks" work.......In other words, the 48 hrs notice changed to 72 hrs. and I was not able to place the order because I will not be in Asheville on Saturday. Everything was absolutely amazing!! A wonderful selection of different types of foods and drinks. The atmosphere was very casual and comfortable. Definitely worth the wait!
Mood lifting experience! I was tired, annoyed, and full after a long day and a big dinner, but as soon as I bit into the macaroon brownie, my fatigue and frustration faded away. I felt like I was on a fluffy cloud made if hugs. When a brownie can so completely change my mood, I know it's a winner! I've been a big fan of French Broad Chocolates for many years.
We love this place. Everything is delicious and the staff is always friendly. Anytime we have friends or family visiting, this is one of the places we always bring them to. Never disappointed. We live here and consider ourselves so fortunate to have French Broad Chocolates, because they are the best!!!

Best cinnamon latte ever! The counter services is friendly and quick, and the vibe is happy.
This is a staple stop for us every time we're in Asheville. The line is usually long, but goes fast. The downside is that it makes it hard to see what they have and then make a quick decision. BUT the chocolate is amazing and worth the wait! I'm not a cake person, but the Mocha Stout Cake is AMAZING! The hot chocolate of any kind is awesome and the pot de creme is for a true chocolate lover. Don't miss out on this gem!
Salted caramel...quite possibly the best hot chocolate ever.
