Don't go today if you want chocolate hot chocolate or liquid truffle. They are out of chocolate. Seriously. And they won't tell you that until you've stood in line for an hour.
Love this company! I sent a box of brownies to friends for the holidays. They raved over how good they are. And much to my surprise, the note in the box was handwritten!!! I love personal touches like that. Thank you!

The workers were friendly and very helpful! I loved the dark chocolate ice cream! My son had other very appetizing foods! I love Chocolate World!
I had been wanting to try this place for a couple of years. I got a chai latte and a chocolate snickerdoodle cookie. The cookie was very good, very rich. The chai latte was also good, not too sweet. I also bought some chocolates. So far, my favorite is the lavendar honey caramel. I would be interested in sampling more. Enjoyed my visit. Ordering at the counter was a little confusing, but the young man who waited on me was nice and patient.
We enjoy the chocolate confections because we know the quality of chocolate is excellent! The owners take the cocoa bean and follow the process from start to finish. Check out PBS SERIES : CRAFTSMAN LEGACY to learn their story!
Best chocolate I've had. We drive an hour and 20 minutes just to eat here!! Must try liquid truffles.
The place had lots of things to choose from. I loved the single crafted chocolate bites with burbon and hazelnut, and tried the Budha chocolate ice cream. The ice cream was ok, not too impressed with it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My disappointment was the fact that being 'French Broad' they did not have anything European to offer. All in all, cool place to visit and enjoy chocolate.
