I am incredibly dissatisfied with my experience at Freeman URGENT care. I was from out of town and had an ear infection/upper respiratory infection. I asked the lady if my $35 copay would work & she said they take all insurances. I had to wait 3 hours to get a rude doctor who spent 2 minutes with me. He prescribed 1 antibiotic and told me to take sudafed. They ended up charging me an EMERGENCY room COPAY and now I just got a bill for 78 more dollars. So my bill totaled $178. Are you kidding me? Beware that they charge your insurance as an emergency room, instead of a provider for urgent care, and they will not file any other way. What should have been a simple co-pay with my insurance, $35, turned into a bill for $178. I'm very upset with the whole experience. Not only is the bill 5 times more than I was expecting, they weren't even that great when it came to my diagnosis.
