RecommendedLast year I had a complete organ shut down. and was life transported to freeman. a team was waiting at the door for me and immediately got to work. every since then I have been in there about every other mont for week becuz another hostical (labette health) refused to take care of me and let me get worse and worse. Terrible doctors. Just all around rude
They really hire some doozies. That's a shame.
This is the worst hospital I have ever been in. I have been in NY and Pennsylvania hospitals. They tried to push dangerous texts on me when I am allergic to iodine with zero concern about my safety or my life. Sad.
We had an amazing experience having our baby boy at Freeman. having had a child somewhere else, I can say with 100% certainty that Freeman has the best Labor & Delivery and Postpartum staff out there. Even with the virus restrictions and changes, everyone worked well together to make things run smoothly and make things as "normal" as they could for us.
Knowledgeable Physicians and caring nurses. Our community is blessed to have this health system here to care for our medical needs.
with all this coronavirus going on my grandson has been sick for 3 days with a cough sore throat and runny nose and FREEMAN has NO DOCTOR who can see him until Monday morning ,.👎
apparently you need a domino's pizza to be seen in er. been here 5+ hours an watch people walk in an see doctor. freeman hospital in joplin is the biggest joke in this town.
The doctors are great but the ER is ridiculous. I’ve been here twice in the last month because of chest pains. Both times I have sat in the waiting room for hours while people came in after me and were taken back and released before I was ever taken back. Other places prioritize chest pain and try to get people on monitors quickly. They run tests and dump you back in the waiting room.
