My son split his eye open, ON THE DAY covid-19 was confirmed in Jasper County. Amberlee was the sweetest, most helpful nurse I have ever encountered. She explained everything so thoroughly, I was at ease taking him home and caring for him. We need, not only nurses, but people like Amberlee. Thank you for treating us like family.

I've come here twice and neither experience has been good, two different doctors and they both barely did their job and were condescending. The first visit in January 2018 out to be pneumonia. I was crying in pain. when they took my chest x ray. The Dr. acted like there was nothing he could do. As I was checking out and about to go to the hospital, they called me back into the patient room because oh the Dr. finally looked at my xray and saw pnemonia. with all this coronavirus going on my grandson has been sick for 3 days with a cough sore throat and runny nose and FREEMAN has NO DOCTOR who can see him until Monday morning ,.👎

apparently you need a domino's pizza to be seen in er. been here 5+ hours an watch people walk in an see doctor. freeman hospital in joplin is the biggest joke in this town.

The doctors are great but the ER is ridiculous. I’ve been here twice in the last month because of chest pains. Both times I have sat in the waiting room for hours while people came in after me and were taken back and released before I was ever taken back. Other places prioritize chest pain and try to get people on monitors quickly. They run tests and dump you back in the waiting room.
