No one noticed the bright red ALLERGY bracelet and prescribed my mom codeine after surgery. The pharmacy (not Freeman) also did not notice it even though it is clearly marked in her chart there as well. Good thing I checked before giving it to her. Joplin you are better than this!

I have had to come to the hospital twice since moving here. I came once for salmonella, and and another for a spinal migraine, and each time I was treated wonderfully, and the staff was excellent! Well, now my daughter had her baby, due to complications, during COVID, and although she was young and scared and that could not be changed, the care was NEXT TO NONE. She has bragged about their bedside manner, their gentleness with her, and the celebratory meal just made us all emotional. Idk why there are bad reviews, but I hope... read more

First off: The actual doctors in the cardiac unit are wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. However, the nursing staff for the cardiac unit are possibly the worst. Last night I had to request a change of nurse due to the original nurse being hateful and snarky at my mother who was a registered CNA for 25 years because she was helping my dad with a sponge bath on his bed, which the nurse gave her permission to do 15 minutes prior because my father was uncomfortable with a tech doing it. The icing on the whole situation was t... read more

sat in the waiting room for 5 and half hours with an iv in arm, get back to the room finally and have the same questions asked by 3 diff ppl cause I guess they chart separately and can't speak to one another. Didn't have any pillows, heart monitor kept showing heart rate dropping and machine was going off but no nurses came in. will not come back. oh and while in waiting room they were goin around asking people if they needed pain meds. asked my husband twice after he told them he didn't want pain meds so they wrote refused ... read more

worst hospital ever. All these reviews are terrible. How are they allowed to keep operating this way??? All of their employees are rude, including the doctors. They do not get any info about their patients. They think they know everything. They do not practice privacy laws. They do not read charts. All around appalling place from hell. I would rather die than be a patient here. Also, ER nurses here need to be told they work at a hospital, not a strip club.

ER nurse has her food sitting on desk while taking vitals. Only a fewnof us sitting in the waiting room. Guarantee when I get called back they'll be empty rooms everywhere as always. Not my first rodeo. I fell and have a splitting neck, back and headache and I'm sitting in a freezing waiting room with bright lights. This place gets worse and worse

Urgent care sent my husband to er for burns. 5 hours at er he awas lectured by nurse and dr about waiting to come in and it could have affected his lungs...did not look at airways and just asked if he was short of breath...dr them lectured about alcohol. This was a faulty stove not alcohol related as he had not been drinking. my husband is an almost 40 yr old professional and was treated like a dumb frat boy. wonder why we have a drug problem in this area they gave him pain pill prescription he did not qant nor felt he neede... read more
