I paid my mortgage off after tornado with a claim check. I had to wait 5 business days for a statement of pay off to mail back to them. Stupid! They are holding my escrow after the loan paid off for two weeks. They owe me interest for keeping my money! They send put too much junk mail to my home. Do not use this company. I hope the ceo reads this!

Freedom mortgage has been a night mare for me. They reported I was late in June 2019. I paid it off on June 5 and then deny they put it on my credit .

You are approved before the appraiser comes out. After the appraiser comes and submits that information, forget it. Then you will be turned down.

This is the WORST mortgage company I have ever had to deal with in my 20+ years of home ownership. Their website in very uninformative. Any time I ask a question via email, I get mailed a reply so I have to wait many days to get a actual answer. When I try calling for answers, their menu options are tedious. They have no idea of how escrow should work. They sent me a refund of $250 for an overage in my escrow account, then told me my payments would increase the next year by $15 per month.
