The first time I walked into Freed, I knew I was home. DC has so many different kinds of energy--and some of it can be hard to navigate. It has meant everything to me to have this oasis in the midst of it all. Very poor service, rude personnel. Don't waste your money.
I'm biased because, yes, I work here. But a big part of why I work here is that the team of people who also work here are so very very good at what they do and create such a wonderfully supportive space for anyone who wanders in. Whether you want a good massage, a compassionate yoga class, a solid listening ear, herbal medicine, or amazing good energetic work you can find it here.
I feel so lucky to have Freed in my neighborhood. The environment is friendly and low key, and the massage services are wonderful. Buy a package! You'll save yourself some money plus your body will thank you.
Don't know what my bound, trans, tense body would do without them.
