My name is Vernell Rollins. I am a patient at the free clinic. Since I started going to the clinic, my health is better. I am diabetic. I have hypertension. I just recently found out I have poor circulation in my legs. The doctors and nurses are very nice and concerned about my health, The Patient Educator, Mr. Dave, is very nice. He helped me control my diabetes and hypertension by telling me what, when, and how much to eat. Since I have been a patient here, they have helped me very much.
I've been going there for almost 4 years now. Always received excellent service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and a blessing for all the time they devote to helping everyone that comes in.
This supposedly "free clinic" is giving my friend (who has NO INSURANCE) a hard time AFTER confirming to her that she has an auto immune disease. They then refused to further service her but later on said, they'll still refer her to a rheumatologist. She calls today and her appointment isn't until January 2015. Smh ... what kind of health professionals are you guys
I enjoy working for the clinic it helps people that does not have courage with insurance or any other resource
