RecommendedGood food at decent prices
Total surprise at the service and food I received today. Ordered Clam Strip dinner to go. First time, clams burnt and greasy with clam taste. Drove back, they couldn't understand why I didn't like it. They made me another dinner, not burnt. when I got home and took a bite, same greasy, gross taste with no clam flavor. Change your oil, blot the food for an hour, I don't know. NOT happy with the service either. Manager thinks food cooked and delivered that way is acceptable. Tried keeping it local but rather go to Niantic.
The food was great! Loved the whole belly clams and the flounder!
Great food always
Been goin to Fred’s since I was a little girl and I’ve always absolutely loved it! The view of the Thames river is perfect and they have the best FRESH New England seafood for not too bad a price! Best place to go after a day at the beach or a day outside. Good family atmosphere or casual date night 😊

We tried Fred’s for the first time during sailfest. I got the scallop dinner and I am extremely picky when it comes to my scallops and you guys impressed me! The scallop dinner was the best I’d had in years. Light crispy batter. Not soggy with grease. Even the fries were light and crisp. I also enjoyed the onion rings and slaw. Awesome food and friendly service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great food. Great prices. Shanty burger was great.
Love the milkshakes and burgers. Get a table overlooking the river. Doesn’t get much better than that!
