Awesome place, reasonable prices. My only complaint if any would be that they're only open seasonally.
Came 30 minutes early. They dried off their seats for us and were very friendly. The Shanty burger was outstanding!
Fred's shanty is about my favorite clam shack any place. The food is delicious and the people are just wonderful. Just yesterday I had an order of whole belly clams that were out of this world. Go visit; you won't be sorry!
Not sure how anyone could complain, the food is delicious, service amazing... Blows captain Scott's out of the water! Even the in-laws from Wyoming agreed, Fred's is by far the best seafood they've had on vacation!!
I went there for the first time about another a year ago. Probably some of the worst Summertime food I've had. My shoestrng fries I buy at a grocery store are better than those. Everything is frozen, nothing is fresh. Not much in the way of parkng or seating for that matter. I don't know why people rave, it certainly is not a geat Summer place.
This place is the worst. It's like they are required to have an attitude problem. All of the food is frozen, so if your planning on a cod sandwich, I hope you like tilapia. Tried to order over the phone and was hung up on. Absolute shithole. Sadly, this was one of my favorite places up until about 4 yrs ago
