Food was great, service was TERRIBLE. My husband got his food 15 minutes after the rest of the group. Then they brought out the wrong main dish and side dish. As we were grabbing the manager the right main dish finally came out, but without sides, which the waitress said they had already attempted to bring out. After the manager left the waitress began insulting him saying he never does anything. Then blamed the kitchen for messing up the order. Love the food, but after that experience I doubt we go back.

Terrible service. We had a 5:30 reservation for 5 people on a Tuesday night and we still waited over an hour for our meal. The renovations look wonderful, but the service still needs some adjustments.
The new building is very nice and has a lot of original charm. The food and service were excellent. My family has been coming here since they originally opened in the early '70's. So glad they are back.
Great dinner at Freds last night! Ribs were phenomenal and so was the trout!

My dad started taking me to Freds over 30 years ago. I used to love seeing Fred and Lou wander through the restaurant and chat with everyone! I have been a picky eater all my life and I have always found the food to be first class! Did I mention we drive over from Tulsa to eat here? The new owners have made sure that the tradition that Fred and Lou started has continued just the same. The cheesecake is the best in the world!!!!!
We loved the ribs and the beans. Nice wait staff who took care of us and overall, we had a great time. We recommend this restaurant to our friends who are headed to Arkansas!
Delightful dinner. very pleasant wait staff. Ribeye was awesome so was the lasagna. very quaint atmosphere with no screaming kids, etc. prices were very reasonable considering this is a five-star restaurant. perfect date night destination for dinner.
My parents worked for the original owners, Fred and Lou Gaye. They were awesome people. That was early 70's. The food has always been top of the line. Keep up the great work.
