The hostess was nice and offered to let us sit in the main dining room or the bar area which she said was quieter - it was, except for the tipsy foursome that didn't know the proper volume for indoor conversation. I ordered the "unnamed" soup that I was told the ingredients. It was pretty good. It took 45 minutes from the time we ordered till we received the entrees. I have been to Fred's many times in the past. This was my first time back and I must say most likely my last. The food was a huge disappointment. I ordered the "French onion soup" no way was that even close. Well it did have onions in it! Also ordered creamed spinach and it was basically spinach from a can! I asked and was told that was their creamed spinach. The waiter I only hope was having a bad night! Never asked it we wanted anything other than water. Service was great! Steak was good, but over priced. The cheesecake was the best I have ever had anywhere.
We had a party of 20 or 25 and one super server! He did an excellent job and the food was amazing as always!
Disappointed previous customer. Very small portions for the price. We ordered from the Valentines Day menu, 4 entrée choices. Priced $20 for pasta or $30 for duck or beef. I ordered the beef option and the portion was smaller than my toddler's child plate.
