Fred's is an absolute classic! From the small, narrow space with its "lunch counter" to the servers/owners with attitude, I enjoy the experience every single time ... even if I'm there nursing a hangover. Fred's Diner is one of the many things I miss most after moving from Grayslake to Dallas.
The waitresses are only upstaged by the delicious food.

Been coming here for 14 years love the food the staff as the small diner feel
The food and atmosphere is even better than advertised! The generous portions of Eggs Benedict, hash browns with onions, biscuits and gravy were great! A unique experience and maybe the best breakfast I've ever had!
