Awesome little diner in awesome little Grayslake. I HAVE TO bring my brother in-law & dad there for breakfast every time they are in town!

Fred's Diner is a Grayslake icon! The food is served hot, fast and delicious! It's small so we always get there early to get a booth. One of the last of its kind and the community loves Fred's!

An absolute must if you want to truly experience what Grayslake has to offer. Great staff and food, and great for family of all ages. My kids beg to go, and they are welcomed with open arms. Yeah, there's a wait, but we'll worth it.
Great old-fashion diner, complete with waitresses with an attitude. The omelette was huge and delicious!! We will definitely be back. Small place, so be prepared to wait for a table, but worth the wait!!
