RecommendedThe QCMM weekend is always magical, but the innkeepers here have made it perfect. The rooms are lovely, but the detail of decor and added treats all in keeping with the theme of the festival are over the top!!
Situated near the middle of downtown, Frederick House is convenient. Despite this convenience, the rooms are roomy and quiet. Parking is right next to each house entrance. Park and be done with driving for the weekend!
A wonderful get away, walking distance to shopping and dining. Rooms are wonderfully decorated and breakfast each morning is fabulous. Staff members are very friendly making it a experience worth checking out.
A friend of mine and I were looking for a brief getaway within a reasonable driving distance from home. We picked Frederick House in Staunton and stayed for two nights in Patrick. It was a wonderful experience that I want to turn into an annual trip. Relaxing, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the Blackfriars playhouse. We also took a great hike and attended a concert in the park. The room was spacious, homey, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely go back.

We just "happened" to be guests, stayed in a local hotel one night, they had no room for an additional night, but we lived Stauton so much wanted one more night. Frederick House was the best find of our trip. Our room, aka suite was so wonderful, we quickly made our way to the front desk and added another night. We will definitely find our way back to Staunton, but only if it includes the Frederick House.
I stayed at the Frederick House with friends for 5 days and 4 nights. We stayed in the suite at the Young house. It was great! It has the charm and look of the 1800s but with modern amenities. The beds were luxurious. The hosts were friendly and happy to give us some recommendations of where to eat and things to do as well as the history of the bed and breakfast and the town. Just spent several days at the Frederick House in the Young home, it was wonderful �, the breakfast was fantastic and nice variety!! Bed � was so comfortable & clean! So many wonderful things to do within walking distance!! Great restaurants couldn’t try them all but the ones we did eat at delicious!! Yelping Dog!! The Mill , Emilio’s! The Shakespeare’s play fantastic!! I highly recommend staying at The Frederick House �!!!!
