I highly recommend staying at the Fredrick House. They own 5 houses in Staunton VA. We recommend the Strata for breakfast! It’s in walking distance to restaurants, breweries, shops and more.
This is one of those Kindness things that we will all need to a get through these crazy times. I live next door to Frederick House in a small condo building that has no outside terraces. I was starting to get a little stir crazy so I contacted the owners of Frederick House to ask permission to sit on their terrace and read my book. They graciously said yes and I took advantage of the nice weather today to get a little Sun and Vitamin D. Thank you Frederick House!
My husband and I stayed at The Frederick House with our wedding party during our wedding weekend. IT WAS THE BEST! It was the perfect way for all of our friends to stay in close proximity to one another & give them a good taste of the history of Staunton. Very comfortable bed and the rooms are large.
What a lovely delight of a place. We came up from NC for the B&BforVets program stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The suite was perfect for our little family, comfortable, well-appointed, and tasteful (but not too much for young children to endanger). We loved walking the town and exploring the area. Simply amazing inn and the perfect place to be for Queen City Mischief and Magic or any other reason you'll be around down town Stanton. They've gone above and beyond to make everything festive and fun. The innkeepers and other staff are so kind and fun and make this a lovely place to be. Also very honest. There was an error with the original rate I was quoted when I booked and they honored it even though there was a large difference. We will definitely be back. Oh and breakfast is also very good!
This is our second stay at Fredrick House and we continue to love it. The proximity to downtown is great, the rooms are huge and super comfortable, the bedding is incredible, the breakfast is yummy and everyone who works here is so pleasant and helpful. The kids kept cling the room "home" yesterday. I have been impressed with the professionalism and flexibility of everyone that works here. We couldn't be more pleased!
