I’m a Canadian cross border shopper. Fred Meyer is my favourite USA based grocery store. In recent years, prices and the weak Canadian dollar have made cross border shopping uneconomical but great service and items not available in Canada keep us coming back.
I am literally baffled at how I was treated this evening, after purchasing $200 in dishware. It was such an awful experience, I cried in my car in the parking lot afterwards. I'm anticipating contacting the general manager tomorrow for resolution; however, and I'm not feeling very hopeful after my interaction with management tonight.
Literally looked at make up in the section did nothing wrong just looked. Just as any shopper would. And they followed me, harassed me, made me feel accuses of something I would never do. Then proceeded to threaten my job and tell me they would tell my boss. When I have done nothing. Really I'm professional rude and all around a bad and worst experience I have ever had. You should be ashamed.
Been shopping here for years! You don't get better than Fred Meyer! The employees are very friendly and always happy to help you!
Good prices and found what we were chasing for gifts.
