My son is on the autism spectrum and a trip to the dentist is a whirlwind of sensory experiences that has previously been too overwhelming for him. Today, however, he got his teeth cleaned, x-rays, and fluoride treatment FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! Not only that but he actually ENJOYED the experience, not just tolerated the experience.
