We had fish for a while and then bought a few from Frank’s to add in. After discussing with the workers good combos I ended up buying $25 in small fish. One and a half week later every single fish is dead and my kids are crying. I will never go back. After this happened to us I’m finding out that this is not uncommon with Frank’s.

I went there about a month ago to get a hamster. The employees are very kind and helpful. Someone locked their keys in the car next to me and an employee (I think it might have been the owner or manger) helped them get their car open. Even though I live fairly far, I know I’ll be getting most of my pet supplies there. My hamster is doing great and they have a loyalty program for food and bedding. I think it’s like every five or so you get a free bag or something like that.

Loved the pet shop and went there for many years.. as a patron they are great.. but after working there, many issues became evident. I was excited about the job and loved the job but ended up quiting after routine back handed and abusive comments from Frank the owner. His paranoia and distrust toward certain employees but favoritism for others became evident. He put a camera pointing into the staff bathroom so he could watch how often employee's urinated. once again they have taken care of me. I drive 45 minutes because I am tired of the chain stores. I love their prices. they have never let me down
1. The smell of urine and dirty cages was awful. Found a bearded dragon baby in a glass aquarium and the water dish had 2 crickets in the water dish. The crickets had been there for days in that water dead. The crickets had their bellies like blown up, so they were in that water for days. I had to call over a worker. That place is just filthy. I will not be back. Went there to buy crickets, saw how bad the store was and wouldn't by even a cricket. Dont want my bearded dragon sick. Other cages and aquariums were filthy.
I love this store. I came in the other day to buy a Beta, and I needed help. My previous beta (a Walmart fish) had gotten very sick, and despite my best efforts, she died. I was scared to buy a new fish because I wanted to treat it well. The crew that was working that day showed the utmost patience, wisdom and kindness as I plied them with fish questions for about 20 minutes. They counseled me on the right food, tank and care cycles.
