Dr. Hardin has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry in Chapel Hill since 2007 with the goal of engineering a dental practice where both children AND their parents would feel comfortable. Dr. Shauna joined the practice in 2019. Dr. Hardin & Dr. Shauna both strive to treat every patient and family as if it were their own. Our staff is dedicated to creating a fun, safe atmosphere to deliver compassionate care to your family!

Our daughter has been coming here for awhile now. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, take their time to explain things, and make our kiddo feel more comfortable about her experience.

Great place! Great stuff! Our dentist first played with my son for several minutes before examining him. I've been told about several treatment options we have so I can be prepared financially. The most important thing is that I know that my son will be happy and excited for our next visit! Because of the approach of people who work there.
We've been with SVPD for yrs, love it. Only concern has been video games in the waiting room...kids get too much screentime these days, prefer SVPD indirectly support that problem. Have also long wished for appt options on either Friday (they're closed) or 1 day a week when the practice is open after 5 to help working parents who struggle to get their child down to So Village for care.
Dr Kate and staff are wonderful. My kids had a great visit, they were friendly, patient, kind and fun! It was one of the best doctor experiences i have had to date!! Highly recommend for young kids!!
