Franklin Bakehouse is a great spot to grab a quick pastry and a drink to take on your walk around downtown Franklin. They have a mix of sweet and savory breakfast items, as well as a small selection of other food and drink items in a small refrigerated section. The staff is very friendly and will bring your drinks and food to your table, making the experience a nice relaxing stop whether you’re starting or ending your time out around downtown. I usually don’t leave bad reviews. I honestly don’t understand how this place can have such a rating. First of all, the prices are absolutely unjustifiably high. Secondly, this was the worst avocado toast I’ve ever had — burnt and oversalted. It cost $8. The same goes for the two coffees. The place nearby, Rubi Sunshine, is much better.
