Dr. DeTrane has a great reputation in our area. I had my first colonoscopy with him just a few days ago, and I was very comfortable. I returned completely to normal as soon as I got home. I am also grateful because he caught a polyp that was hard to see. You want a doctor that has a high adenoma detection rate! He also calls his patients at home himself to see how you are doing. Very good doctor. I'm going to have to go in for another colonoscopy, and I'm glad I am in his capable hands.
Beware, his office staff will tell you a lab is covered. The doctor will order the lab as the "ordering physician", and when insurance doesn't cover, insurance and the doctor will tell the patient it is their responsibility - essentially rewarding themselves for the doctor's error (and they admit it is the doctor's error) It happened to me with Dr. Detrane's office!
