I’ve been going to Dr Detrane for 20 years and have always found him to be attentive and knowledgeable. Always answered my questions without being in a hurry. Had many procedures with him. Never seen him in a bad mood!! Didn’t rate the office staff because I didn’t have much to do with them. Most of my appointments were made for me by other providers.
I have been a patient of Dr. Detrane since 2014. He is very helpful. He is not the problem-his staff is. The front desk staff is rude, does not return phone calls, and is very UNHELPFUL in trying to get billing details corrected. I also cannot get any nurse to return my phone call regarding medication refills. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get someone to return my phone call and send in my prescription refill. My pharmacy has contacted them twice. The staff is inattentive and constantly complained that they are too busy.... read more
I've always received top notch care with Dr. Detrane. Never cuts you short, and thorough feedback. I drive 50 miles to see him for my care.

I was referred to Gastroenterology Associates of Fredericksburg few months ago to see Dr Detrane. I have been to the practice 7 times & I yet to see the Doctor. I always see the nurse & she always seems confused & has to ask others what’s the next steps for my treatment. I thought at least if the doctor couldn’t see me; he would refer me to another Doctor in the practice; however; while my condition is deteriorating & I am in constant pain; they are still sending me to conduct more tests & exams without paying any attention ... read more
When I first went to dr Detrane he did my endoscopy and colonoscopy went good very Happy with him but today I called to get an app6due to issue with my stomach I had never received a bill they informed me til the 107.00 dollars was paid I could not make an appointment our drs are all about money not our health and this is sad
