It's almost impossible to find a jeweler that actually repairs watches and jewelry. This year, I had two heirloom watches repaired at Frank Adams. One was my high school graduation gift Rolex Submariner. It was referred to Rolex USA for refurbishment and looks like new. The other was my father's Longines men's tank watch. I just got it back yesterday. It looks better than it has in literally 60+ years. My dad bought an aftermarket gold watchband in Italy around 1958.
