The history of Franco's Athletic Club dates back to 1986 when Ron and Sandy Franco moved to Mandeville, LA with the hopes of purchasing the Bon Temps Club, a 28,000 sq. ft. racquetball and social club. They were successful in purchasing the club on April 4, 1988. RecommendedI love the yoga and spin classes!
The pilates studio is great. I only go there for that. I really can't speak to anything else. I Etihad there were more pilates classes to choose from but I make it work because it's 3 minutes from my house. I've lost 75 lbs in a year and a half doing pilates 3-5 times a week. I don't like exercise. But I've learned to love pilates.
Love this place and the staff is amazing.
As a veteran franco team member for 26+ years I am grateful for the investment in the facility and the culture that Franco's lives by. Fitness is a journey for all ages, and levels!!

Super Clean Variety & Fun Classes Friendly/ helpful Staff
While this is hands down the best gym around the Mandeville area, Francos does need some improvement. Athletic room is awesome, but so many member refuse to re-rack their weights and staff on the weekends does not pick up the slack where members fail. During the week rarely encounter this issue as the fitness director manger is always on top his game. The entire place is a vibe. You can go there for everything. One stop shop! All they need is a mini grocery store for healthy produce and you’ll never have to leave!!!
