There are a number of people in the Center for Service Excellence that are lovely to talk to on the phone, but in terms of a "Patient Advocate" Service, on my experience this organization is entirely ineffective. I literally just got a letter back after 2 months that listed my concerns and didn't address a single one of them. Franciscan Health desperately needs actual patient advocates, in my opinion.
Franciscan is a great hospital but they have a poor bedside manner they take a patient with a tracheostomy in their neck and send them to a nursing home that's one of the worst ones in Indianapolis called Waters on 2600 Cold spring road the people that are horrible Franciscan was trying to get rid of the patient each and every day after she came out of critical heart surgery and lung surgery she now does not have the antibiotics that she needed in order to help her to continue to heal because they put her out of the hospital... read more
