I came in during a miscarriage and was basically discarded. They would not do anything for me, and made me wait days before I even got a consultation with the obgyn and was told I could not get treatment unless I paid in full. That night I went to Eskenazi and was treated with empathy and urgency. St Franciscan sent me a bill of over $3,000 and did nothing for me. Eskenazi actually helped me and I was billed less than $1,800.

I’d ask for my prescriptions, had to wait 3 hours until nurse came in. None of the Doctors were on the same page, I’d get different information from all of them. Complete discombobulation

This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. The nurse Emmanuel was rude, when asked his last name he replied; I don't give my name out to patients perhaps I should start on his bed side manners in chewing gum and complaining about having to pee over and over again. I am a nurse and my husband and I were with a couple who is on the committee who was shocked at his behavior. I was born here in 2007 and I had a lot of problems health wise. I don’t live in Indiana anymore, but I do have to say I am 6’3” and happy as can be. My parents told me so many stories about how scared they were and how the nurses and doctors did their absolute best. I’m lucky to be alive because of them. Thank you Franciscan hospital.
