I had to take my daughter into the ER for tooth pain because a 24/7 dentist isn’t really 24/7. The doctor was terrible, she embarrassed my daughter and judged me for letting it get to this point. It wasn’t her place to do either. If I knew her name I would absolutely call her out.
I took a friend with chest pains and flu symptoms. The staff was not particularly busy, Saturday PM. The intake was reasonable, but I needed to leave the room several times, pick up a prescription, coffee etc over three or four hours. None of the staff made it clear to me how to access the room on return. Apparently the “Staff Only” door is the only way in and it has to be opened by the registration clerk. My husband went here 4 times in 6 days. They gave him pain meds when they were told he couldn't have because of other meds he was on. Dr Stern didn't have a clue what was wrong. Said it was arthritis. NEVER AGAIN!!! WORST EVER VISIT.
What a rip off! I was sent here from the urgent care to get epinephrine for a hives outbreak (because ONLY the er could administer it). The er doc went against the urgent care doc's recommendation, didn't follow standard protocols for addressing an allergic reaction, and I wound up having the hives for 10 days after my er visit! On top of this, I get that hefty er bill for something that urgent care could have administered in the first place.
