One of the few places on the waterfront to serve brunch, this restaurant specializes in seafood. The airy and casual restaurant offers a view of Pier 43 and the wharf. Reservations are recommended for dinner and during the summer months of June through August.

We had good time there! Good services and the food we ordered -- spinach salad, crab chowder, and garlic pasta, all fantastic!
Loved the crab enchiladas, and the view is spectacular!
Tottered in like the tourists we were, with no reservations on a Saturday and yet seated promptly overlooking the water, attentive and funny server, rockin' chowder, crab, and shrimp. And of course the sourdough. This place is one of the reasons I love San Francisco!

My husband & I enjoyed our night out at Franciscan Crab House. The food was excellent. I had the Begetable Bolognese Fettuccini and Jif had their World Famous Dungeness Crab. Both were delicious, but the crab..... Voila'......Excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone going into the city for an enjoyable meal. The waitress? Walked in, got a table fairly quickly (Wednesday evening). Quick service and tasty food, oh and strong drinks...all made for a lovely and satiated evening

Fantastic location, great food and waiters
The service was horrible. The staff unfriendly. Never checked up on us. When then brought the food, attempted to ask for additional things but they just walked away. The food was mediocre. The scenery was the only good thing about the place.
