One of the few places on the waterfront to serve brunch, this restaurant specializes in seafood. The airy and casual restaurant offers a view of Pier 43 and the wharf. Reservations are recommended for dinner and during the summer months of June through August.

I'm from San Diego & live near the beach & we have a Joe's Crab Shack & it's great but I LOVE the elegance of the Franciscan Crab Restaurant in San Francisco. When I first came here last Christmas, my family & I were hanging around Pier 39 & thought we try it just because we were in the area. I didn't realize we were in for a treat! Such a beautiful restaurant with an awesome view & the food is SO delicious! I will definitely make it a point to come here each time I'm in San Francisco!
I had the Crab melt, it was amazing, the service was great ,loved it
Lekker, veel variaties, maar alles komt te snel, je kunt niet genieten van je eten en uitzicht , jammer !
Wait till you sit down and see their actual menu, wow. We had the calamari we had the sea bass we had the crab fettuccine and we had the crab sliders. All of it was fabulous plus the view of Alcatraz.
