I appreciated Dr. O'Day's non-invasive educational approach toward TMJ. I have been a patient for over 6 years and have been headache free within a week of my first of three sets of mouth night guards. After moving across the state, I chose to drive the 4 hours each way for my third set of night guards since I am confident in his approach as well as the past 6 years of being headache free and experiencing a significant reduction in jaw pain. If you are looking for non-invasive approach, look no further. I highly recommend!
Dr ODay was extremely knowledgeable. He didn’t order unnecessary tests, X-rays or MRIs and charge me an arm and a leg like other places. I appreciate the 1:1 time you get with him instead of seeing the Doctor for like 5 minutes only. I spent an entire hour with him and know I understand exactly what I need to do to help my pain issues.
I paid $175 for a TMJ consultation and left extremely dissatisfied. There was no X-ray or imaging performed and no comprehensive evaluation. The only examination done was the dentist briefly pressing on a few jaw and facial muscles to ask about pain points and using a stethoscope to listen for the clicking noise in my jaw. Did absolutely nothing for me except cost me money. I had to pay $60 every visit just for him to tell me to stop clenching. He had me pay $1,000 for a mouth guard which broke in half. Did no help whatsoever. My chiropractor does way more. He also did nothing to see how bad my jaw actually is. Just felt it. No x-rays, no bite wings, nothing. Save yourself the money and don’t go here.
