I would like to express my disappointment in my stay last night. We had reservations for Sunday and Monday at Cedars. We were celebrating our anniversary and my birthday. We had to call to get our tv fixed...for no picture. Also, dining at Cedars restaurant, we got the wrong menu item along with bland food. Also the bar staff was Arguing with one another...it was very uncomfortable. We decided to leave our stay late this morning...due to the tv, again having no picture! Not a great night.
IT WAS AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE...THE SECOND ONE I'VE HAD IN A ROW AT FOXWOODS. I WAS THERE TO SEE JIM GAFFIGAN AND ARRIVED EARLY. BUT THE PARKING WAS SUCH A DISASTER THAT I WAS STILL TRYING TO PARK 30 MINUTES AFTER THE SHOW STARTED. I MISSED THE EVENT AND HEADED HOME FRUSTRATED BEYOND BELIEF. MY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WAS AT A COMICON FOXWOODS HOSTED...THAT WAS ALSO A DISASTER BECAUSE IT WAS CLEARLY POOR PLANNING ON THEIR PART. Foxwoods needs to have MORE virtual/animated slot machine games. Too long of a wait to get on a machine and I walked to all the casino rooms, same waiting in all rooms, annoying.
I go to Foxwoods probably 3 weeks out of the month and I love it if I ever need anything my host Jenny takes care of it she is wonderful
No smoke free gambling areas......very poor air quality
Stayed at the Two Trees Inn next door. Sleeper couch was uncomfortable but overall the room was fine. Went to the Bob Marley show and had a blast! Makes me laugh when you say 90% of Foxwoods is smoke free when as soon as we walked in, you can smell the cigarette smoke. Did a little gambling and noticed dirty glasses and ash trays. Made a little money at Blackjack and the dealer was friendly and helped us. Breakfast buffet was good and waitress was attentive. Poker tables were moving . Broken games put together quickly.They had $500 bonuses for best hand every 30 minutes. Drink girls were on point. Great experience like always!
