The past 2 times that my mother in law has taken her Sportage in for service they have sold her unecessary services for a vehicle with such low mileage, right at 20000. On the previous visit they performed an injector cleaning at less than 17000 miles. This time they performed a transfer case oil change and a differential oil change. The manual only recommends inspecting those fluids at 40000 miles for normal usage and replacement at 72000 miles under severe usage conditions. They had my car for 9 hours, and didn’t even get it into the maintenance bay. Hell, they didn’t even hook it up to a computer for a diagnostics check. Said it would take up to a day and a half to run one. Never had to wait longer than two hours at any other Kia dealership for servicing, but this one needs 36 hours to read a computer code.
I drove an hour from Denver to lease the 2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid. Rushton was so great and helpful. He never made me feel rushed and wasn’t pushy either. I’m so happy with the decision I made and I love my new Kia.
