Review for Four Points by Sheraton I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Upon arrival to check into my reserved room, I was told by Zuri that they were “turning over a shift” and I would need to wait 45 minutes. I was also told I should have called ahead—even though I had already done so. Unfortunately, this left me with no choice but to book a completely new hotel and reservation at the last minute. Greeted by safe was welcoming. Parking behind the building in what appears to be a shared parking lot, it was convenient enough and I was not out at night so not sure of safety. My room as soon as I opened the door was hit with a musty smell. I immediately turned the AC down super low to rid of the thick air and smell. Had to keep it low or it came back. I recently stayed at this hotel to move my daughter in to FSU. Despite having a great location, I will never stay here again over the next 4 years to visit. We arrived at night so it was dark and I did not notice but the next morning in daylight I was horrified to see mold growing on the walls and ceiling. The damp musty smell in the room was unbearable. I stayed in two different rooms. They were both ... Moist. The carpet in both was vaguely damp. After walking across the floor with shoes on, it was slippery going into the tiles of the bathroom because the treads were now moist. I assumed this was just a one-off, but when I had to rebook for a second night, and got a while different room, it was the same. Also, the AC units in the rooms are half blocked by the desk.
