Stayed one night on the way to monument valley. The room was very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was provided which was a real plus. Blanding is a nice well kept town. The restaurant we went to was dry but that didn't worry us as we don't drink!
A very nice motel indeed, excellent value for the money. I really can't think of any negative points. The room was spacious, very clean, and modern. Microwave and fridge, plus all the usual. Quiet at night, friendly staff, lots of parking space, easy to find... what more can you ask for? Ideal stopover on a roadtrip.
I was traveling with three kids and stayed at the Four Corners on the front end of a backpacking trip. We all got a good night's sleep. There is also a small grocery store and gas station close by where we were able to get some last minute stuff.
If you are driving to Arches National Park from South, this is the place at which to stay. You will save at least $40-$60 per night compared to staying at Moab. Blanding is little more than an hour's drive from Arches. I checked in after a long day of 700 mile drive. The room was very spacious, clean and smelled nice. AC was quiet and cold. The internet connection was very weak. But I had a good night's sleep, all that mattered.
This hotel was an excellent deal and I would definitely stay there again. The room was spacious and clean, and all the amenities were in good working order (TV, refrigerator, microwave, A/C). The continental breakfast was well stocked (fresh homemade cinnamon buns, about 5 different types of cereal, bread, milk, juice, coffee, tea). I'm on a motorcycle vacation on either side of a business trip. Key West to Las Vegas via Colorado and Utah. This motel was far and away the nicest in the 5 nights I've been on the road so far. Very clean. Free wi-fi. You can use the computer in the lobby if you didn't pack a laptop. Manager (owner?) was super courteous. Large room. First clean bathroom (not that I care much....I'm a guy).
