Great remodeled retro hotel. Love the 1940-1960 vibe. Location is great, few minutes from downtown. Several nice restaurants around. We up for a 5 minute drive to a really amazing sushi restaurant. Couple of things to be aware of. 1) The rooms are one floor below a really cool vintage bowling alley, so a bit of noise from above till around 10:30-11:00. 2) Outside seating at the first floor bar on the street side, so noise till closing time. 3) Hot water take a couple minutes to reach the 3rd floor, so start your shower a lit... read more
The hotel is the quintessential boutique hotel. The room was perfect, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was HUGE! The staff who answers the texts/phonecalls was very helpful in helping us find the parking area, but I couldn't rate service higher than a 3, because the check-in process is.....a process. There's no front desk, so you go to the bowling alley on the 4th floor and hope to catch the attention of the bartender to get your keys. I didn’t stay overnight, just came for the rooftop — and it was worth it. Great views of the Indy skyline, laid-back atmosphere, and good food (the nachos hit the spot with a cold drink). Perfect place to hang out, catch the sunset, or just enjoy the city lights. Definitely a hidden gem if you’re looking for a chill rooftop spot.
Great location if going to s show at the HiFi. The decor is bordering on bad but rooms are spotless and the building is very cool. Will stay again.
On our second night we had a B A D night! There was a rough crowd on the street right outside our window at 1:30am. We were freaked out by the crazy loud music and lack of security in the building. It Went on for a long time and got no sleep afterwards.
