This hotel was even cooler than I realized when we booked! It's just the 3rd floor of this building. No front desk - just get key and instructions from the duckpin bowling alley on the 4th floor. 1st floor is an Italian restaurant with a very cool bar, basement is another duckpin bowling alley. The rooms here are gorgeous. What a unique, wonderful place. The decor is beautiful. We put our arrival time at 5pm (on the check in form) and were put down for 4, which was an easy fix over text, but just double checked those match if your on a timeline. We talked to some of the other guests and we all ended up going to the bowling alley anyways to get our rooms keys. The lady that brought us extra toilet paper was less than kind. First time at a hotel someone was giving me attitude about dropping off more TP. The real win ... read more
Historical building with spacious rooms with great views! Comfortable, clean, and beautiful!
Great remodeled retro hotel. Love the 1940-1960 vibe. Location is great, few minutes from downtown. Several nice restaurants around. We up for a 5 minute drive to a really amazing sushi restaurant. Couple of things to be aware of. 1) The rooms are one floor below a really cool vintage bowling alley, so a bit of noise from above till around 10:30-11:00. 2) Outside seating at the first floor bar on the street side, so noise till closing time. 3) Hot water take a couple minutes to reach the 3rd floor, so start your shower a lit... read more
