Last chance restaurant Fountain drive is good in a pinch. If it's the last thing open and you just got paid. I only go to the Fountain if I'm desperate. The food is terribbly overpriced. Now that the Local Scoop has opened I would rather go there. the prices are reasonable and the portions are larger. Like the BlueBird Cafe the Fountain has been one of the only restaurants in town for a long time and it's not up to par anymore.
good food long wait When ever I go to the Fountain I always end up waiting a long time for food. Also the price of the food is a bit much, but the quality is good. I wonder if the fountain was always that busy, so I decided to come by at an off time, and yup, it was still busy. If you go there avoid going through the drive thru. Just because it is easier the wait is considerable longer, and it is harder to get out of the parking lot once you order. I like it, and would recommend it, just make sure you give yourself time.
Given Them More Than One Chance I ended up eating here more than a couple times in a short period of time, as I was shopping for real estate in the area and this seemed to be the option for drive through, eat in the car food in that area. Way over priced in my opinion, and nothing to scream about re; quality, variety or any sort of specialties. Service was rude and impersonal. Food is decent, but drive through girl acts so put out to do her job. I thanked her for the food at the end and she said nothing. Well okay then....
