Our first time. Excellent food. Saw the write up in Annapolis Magazine and wanted to try it. Very busy but Natasha gave us great service at the bar. We will go back for sure.
Went with my son, daughter in law and their neighbors.. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, not overwhelming or butting into our conversation. All in all I plan to go back when I am in the area again.
Last night was our first time at Founders. It was great! I had the Hot Brown which was delicious. It had real roasted turkey. No slices lunch meat . French Onion soup was amazing. The Apple Crumb pie won the award for best presentation. Truly awesome! Only item needing attention were the specialty cocktails. Mine and our dinner guest found them weak. More mixer than alcohol. I am already a fan of Founders, love the Strawberry Basil Gin, best wedge salad in town, great wings and pizza. Last night tried Kentucky Hot Brown-delicious!!! Can’t wait to have it again!
This is my husband’s and my favorite place. The menu is small and homespun. Never had a bad meal. They. Hange ur seasonally and it never disappoints. The bayou shrimp appetizer is dreamy and I get cravings for it! We often sit at the bar and the bartender remembers us and our preferences. Love this place!
Nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Food was fabulous. We split the Maryland eggs benedict and blue cheese burger. Loved the Maryland eggs benedict flavor, but the egg was over boiled. Will go back for it again and ask to make sure the egg is nicely poached with runny yolk. The burger was perfect!
Great service & the best crab cake I've ever had ... We will definitely be back. Sarah our bartender & Tracey the mgr were awesome. Definately worth the 2 hour drive from Pa.
