I hired Tar Heel to install a drainage system in my basement. When the crew showed up, they backed their truck into the lawn without asking first. They were polite, but I would not call them professional when they wore their pants at the top of their thighs and below their ass. The crew also did not know what they were doing. They installed less linear feet than the contract required and did not install the access ports in the gutter system properly. Workers turned a two day job into three. Showed up late and worked about six hours the first two days. They pull my outlet of the beam in my crawl space and laid it on the ground in the crawl space. This is where they left it for me to fix. They also ripped my duct work out of the trunk and left that laying in the crawl space for me to fix. We used Ohio Basement Authority for the structural repair and stabilization of an outward falling block wall that spanned over 40Â’. They had to remove large sections of the garage floor, dig a trench 7Â’ deep by 40Â’ long and insert large tension plates that stabilized the wall from continued movement. Kyle R, Ryan K, and Michael C were extremely polite, hardworking, and very conscientious about the overall quality of their work. They clean-up the work areas after each day and the overall experience was fantastic.

Mitchell ******** from OBA was just here and did my inspection and was able to install a new dehumidifier. Mitchell is very friendly knowledgeable and a very good technician, I would highly recommend.

These guys came to fix a foundation under our sunroom recently and all I can say is that their professionalism was a welcome treat as opposed to so many that companies that can't even spell customer service. They were on time, let us know everything they were doing as it was being done, courteous, even finished a day before they were supposed to. They cleaned up everything after they were finished. I would recommend these guys and Ohio Basement Authority to anyone having foundation or basement issues.
