This dupont circle hotel is not clean. I can post photos showing the state of my room. The air condition filter was very dusty. Drawer, wall and shower curtain had stains. The air condition was so noisy they had earplugs next to the bed. I did not recieve an access code before my arrival. Had to stand outside in the heat texting for the code as the front desk is not manned. Water in shower is very low pressure. Poor choice. Not suitable if you like clean surroundings.
Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, not obnoxious or posh
I checked into this hotel recently and unfortunately had to check out the very same day due to serious cleanliness and maintenance issues. I'm writing this review to help other travelers make an informed decision based on my experience. I made my reservation for this hotel through Booking.com and stated from the outset that I would need an itemized invoice at the end of my stay. I've spent three weeks requesting it, and the hotel refuses to issue it. At first they replied over WhatsApp; then they simply stopped responding. Providing a receipt isn't a favor, it's the bare minimum you'd expect from any reputable hotel. If you need documentation of your stay for reimbursement or expenses, don't count on getting it here. Great location in Dupont Circle; the rooms are spotless clean, the TV is a smart TV and the A/C also works well. Check-in is very easy and contactless. Staff very welcoming, Nathan was also very nice and helpful. Thanks!
