HORRIBLE APPRAISER who cost us 10k with house sale. Had a signed contract for 280k on our house. Ms. Fortunes appraisal was 270k, and so bank would only allow 270k on loan. She made several errors including age of house, square footage, misstatement of paint repairs, etc. needless to say we lost money on our house sale, thanks to her inept appraisal. Oh but she did raise appraisal by 1k when the errors were brought to her attention!! Steer clear of this appraiser!
