This was my first time eating at Fortify, after it was highly recommended by a local business owner. I thought the gazpacho was out of this world! The kale Caeser salad disappointed, as I found it too bitter to eat. The fried green tomatoes on a bed of grits with shrimp was very good and a new twist on fried green tomatoes. I had Collard Greens there a year ago and have been craving them ever since.
Thank you for a delightfully tasty late lunch after walking the Celebrate Clayton festival. Kelly was awesome! We send folks your way from Henson Cove Place B&B from neighboring Hiawassee.
The scallop special today was so good - just enough heat, just enough sweet and the scallops were tender on the inside and seared on the outside. loved it!
Start to finish...absolutely amazing. Great staff, great atmosphere, and great food!
